Amid the challenges of a warming planet, we can find strength in nature—and in each other—to develop climate-resilient communities
Environmental Crisis in Sindh: Tackling Deforestation and Climate Change:
The environmental degradation in Sindh has reached alarming levels, driven by deforestation, unsustainable practices, and the growing impacts of climate change. The region’s ecological balance faces severe disruption, posing challenges to both communities and biodiversity. Addressing these issues requires urgent and collaborative action.
The Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) has established itself as a key player in addressing environmental degradation in Sindh, with initiatives rooted in community ownership, volunteer dedication, and alignment with global sustainability goals. A Green Park project has been initiated in the village of Kandaro Soomro, Thar, aiming to protect the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. The project involves planting 30,000 trees, with 2,000 trees already planted in the first phase.
Every acre we protect and every Plant we restore begins with you. Your support helps us take on the dual threats of climate change in Sindh.
