SINDH EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SEF) SGA MALIR

The Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), Government of Sindh is a semi-autonomous organization established under the Sindh Education Foundation Act, 1992. The Sindh Education Foundation; as a major arm of the Government of Sindh for Public-Private Partnerships in the Education Sector is handling a portfolio of around 2,700 Schools spread across the deepest rural pockets of the Sindh province, with an enrollment of approximately 900,000 students through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode under its multiple programmatic interventions.
The Sindh Education Foundation under the leadership of its Board of Governors is playing a significant role in building sustainable partnerships with individuals and organizations from private sector at large for strengthening quality education among the underserved strata. The SEF aims at increasing enrollment and improving the quality of educational provision in underserved areas using an oversight & accountability mechanism that connects access with the quality measures.

Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) has awarded with a Partnership Contract with Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) under New Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) for SGA Roshan Tara School Bachal Goth, Malir, Karachi on June 22, 2024. Free of Cost Quality Education is being rendered to the underserved children who can not afford education and the complete cost is being borne by SEF through Subsidy.

Project 2

ASIA PETROLEUM LIMITED

In pursuance of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between M/S. Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) and M/S. Asia Petroleum Limited (APL) dated February 14, 2024 for SGA Roshan Tara School Bachal Goth Vocational & Training Centre to help poor female in developing their skills in Tailoring Course to support their families.

The main objective is to develop and implement a vocational training center/program for the benefit of eligible female students graduates of SGA’s Roshan Tara School System and female residents of Bachal Goth or nearby villages, Karachi, to help in uplifting their socio-economic status, reduce poverty and gender inequality, and therefore empower them.

Aside from running a formal education system of up to Class-X on self-help basis in different Sindh Districts through its Roshan Tara School System (RTS) to meet its objective of providing quality education to needy students and equipping them with capabilities required to become economically productive, SGA also believes that vocational education through specialized trades will further enhance their mission of enhancing the lives of their poor students and other community members.
