Our CSO is dedicated to empowering women in Sindh by providing them with education, skills training, and access to economic opportunities. We aim to break the cycle of poverty and inequality by offering programs that equip women with vocational skills, literacy education, and entrepreneurship support. Through workshops and initiatives, we raise awareness about women’s rights and promote gender equality, enabling women to make informed decisions and take control of their lives. Our efforts extend to both rural and urban areas, fostering a supportive environment where women can thrive, become financially independent, and contribute to the development of their communities.
The programme aims to provide economic empowerment opportunities to community women around SGA Schools by providing them with technical skills, and enabling them to earn a livelihood through SGA income generation and micro-program.
We conduct a 4-month Course in tailoring, embroidery skills at our school premises. Women can then earn a substantial amount by working from home or as apprentices at our vocational centers in Bachal Goth and Mirpurkhas. Centers take work orders, including stitching of SGA school uniforms.
Launched in 2022, over 300 women have benefitted from the training in 2 centers.
